Access Your Account

With your Internet-enabled cell phone or mobile device, there are three convenient ways to connect to your accounts:  the ValleyStar Mobile Banking App, Text Banking, and Mobile Browser Banking.  For more information on these services, log in to your Online Banking account, click on the “Access Accounts” tab, then click on the “Mobile Banking” tab.

E-Statements (Free)

View your statements through Online Banking with the click of a mouse, and say goodbye to paper pile-ups and shredding. To sign up for E-Statements, log into Online Banking, click on the Access Accounts tab, then click on the Notifications tab, then click Enroll.

E-Lerts (Free)

Receive alerts by email to stay on top of your account activity or to detect fraud within seconds. You can receive alerts by email at your preferred email address.

Signing up is quick and easy through Online Banking! After your initial enrollment in E-Statements, you can subscribe to any of the E-Lerts available. Once logged into Online Banking, click on the Access Accounts tab, then click on the Notifications tab, and select E-Lerts Options.

Example alerts include:

  • Balance falling below a certain dollar amount
  • When a loan payment is posted
  • Specific checks clearing your account
  • When your personal information has changed (did you know it was being changed?)

Bill Pay (Free)

Our upgraded bill payment system is the easiest, most advanced way to manage your bill payments.  The basic features come FREE with any ValleyStar checking account and now has several “Plus” features that make it even better.

ATM Services (Free with ValleyStar Visa® Debit Card)

ValleyStar has ATMs located at each of our branch offices and at various Food Lion grocery stores in southwest Virginia.  These machines provide free ATM transactions with your ValleyStar Visa debit card.  We are also a part of the CUHere network, an ATM network shared with other Credit Unions across the U.S.

Conduct virtually any transaction over the phone with one of our live telephone service representatives.  They will assist you with any question you have, conduct transactions on your account, and/or walk you through setting up Online Banking, Mobile Banking, Bill Payer, etc.  And, we don’t charge you just to access a real person.
