Martinsville, Virginia (April 2019) – Jeanne Newby of ValleyStar Credit Union has been promoted to the position of Vice President of People and Culture. An employee of the Credit Union since 2018, Newby brings more than 20 years of corporate HR and Talent Management experience. A SHRM Senior Certified Professional, she will be overseeing the departments of Human Resources and Training. Newby is passionate about coaching leaders, fostering a highly-engaged work force, and developing employees to achieve their full potential. She is a resident of Roanoke and holds a BS from Brigham Young University.
