Roanoke, Virginia (December 2016) – ValleyStar Credit Union hosted a groundbreaking event for their first Roanoke branch location on December 7.  Local and state dignitaries joined Credit Union employees and members of their Board of Directors for the ceremony.

“Roanoke is a vibrant, growing community and we are honored to be able to deepen our roots by building our first service center in Clearbrook,” remarked Delbert Lee Morgan, President/CEO of ValleyStar. “This new facility is just the beginning of our ongoing commitment to Roanoke and the surrounding communities to provide quality financial products and services.”

The new branch facility was designed by Danville firm Solex Architecture and is being built by Frith Construction of Martinsville.  The 4,925 square foot building will be located at 3452 Buck Mountain Road in Clearbrook and will house a full-service branch including an ATM.  Completion of the facility is expected by late 2017.
